Speedskating is inline-skating as competitive sports. The athletes try to cover the different distances as fast as possible. Thereby we differentiate between competitions on tracks and road races. As well on tracks as on road races competitions about short and long distances are battled. The distances diversify from 200m to 15.000m. Additionally there are some half-marathons and marathons. Especially exiting are the eliminations and the elimination race series.
